Yesterday i surfed a bunch of blogs, just because its rather unknown territory for me and i was curious what role they play at the adult net. Saw some pretty nice ones with lotsa content. But what surprised me is the amount of spam their hosts fire at you. When you visit, first you have to get rid of popups. But after that, they also redirect about everything. If you try to load a thumbed preview, first 3 attempts load some sponsor's site. If you try a downloadlink, the same happens or you get pops again. Alot of hosts embed fake navigation-tables in the blogs...think you pick a niche or archive, and get sponsors again instead. And of course there are the included headers and footers with all kind of banners and links. Most of the time i was busy closing redirected links and popups. So what amazes me? The fact that users swallow this shit and host their blog with hem. Specially in a time when a hosting account costs 1 upto maybe 10 dollars/month and almost all good scripts (blog, forum etc) are freeware.

If i compare this and other "competition" with sff, i almost believe we are the holy grail on the net :-)
