It doesn't really matter for free hosts.
Rapidshare and image venue host so many millions of files and images that a few hundred hits comming from joebobs will not even raise an eyebrow.
I use hemp on my posts because i always save alot of links into a text file and just do a mass "replace http" before i post it so links i dont want to hotlink are covered...easier than going through and just changing the opnes that might matter.
