Hey guest,
i think its not so much about storing data, its just about downloading them. I remember a MM set that was 1.1 G in size, that was (for a free user) 11 "RS visits" . A compression to 360MB at original size, without any loss in quality (I repeat, unless you want to upsize a 5 kpix photo) was easy. So why download (upload, huh?) a gig when you can get it cheaper? Have a look at the previews of RuM's squeezed Angel and tell me what details are missing.
