I absolutely agree. I know there have been several times that I have checked the posts and thought everything looked fine only to come back later and see that some of them are gone. I think if we delete any posts, we should explain why we deleted it.

I have deleted two posts since becoming a moderator, one was obvious spam, and the other one was a double post (same link posted twice by the same person within minutes ). It seems to me that one of the new moderators has a different view on what is and isn't ok, and I kinda wish they would leave a post letting us know their reasoning.

Anyway, that's my two cents.
